Friends — we have some good and bad news.
The bad news is: Mitch McConnell is ramping up his efforts to elect and defend gun lobby-backed candidates on Election Day.
The good news is: We are gaining ground in many states across the country and have a good chance at electing gun safety candidates. And if we can reach our 10,000 donation goal before Saturday it’ll go a long way towards helping us play a deciding role in some of these close races.
Right now, we have more gun safety candidates running for office than ever before. We have a real opportunity for change, but they need our help.
So before our deadline on Saturday, we have to ask:

We have a real chance to elect a gun safety majority to Congress and the White House who will fight to make our communities safer.
They’ll finally pass background checks through the House and Senate, and take a fair look at many of our other priorities like safe storage laws and funding for gun violence research.
So if we can buckle down and make these next 5 days our best yet we’ll have all we need to ensure that Congress reflects our values and not the gun lobby’s.
