Two years ago, Democrat TJ Cox defeated Republican David Valadao in the race for California’s 21st Congressional District. TJ won by just 862 votes.
Ever since, Valadao has been planning his revenge -- and to reclaim the seat for the GOP. Now Valadao, who voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act during his time in Congress, is trying to gin up support by blaming his 2018 loss on “ballot harvesting,” echoing the president’s false and dangerous claims about voter fraud.
Friend, TJ won by less than 0.8% of the vote last election. We CANNOT let Valadao take this seat back for Republicans. We need to protect an AAPI Democrat who has fought and will continue to fight for affordable health care, humane immigration policies, and the safety of our environment and our workers.
