I'm not a career politician. I'm a first-term member of Congress who was elected to do what is right, not what is politically expedient or safe. Which is why I've been a leading voice in Congress about the urgency of the climate crisis and the need to safeguard our elections from foreign interference.

It's why I took a stand as one of the first voices to call for an impeachment inquiry against Trump and called for universal background checks on firearms sales. It's why I'm taking on Big Pharma and standing up to the NRA.

And it's why I’m a top target for national Republican groups looking to boost my far-right challenger’s campaign to unseat me.
