There’s more we can do to encourage voters to participate in this election. Please join me in phone banking!

Dear Friend,

We're deeply grateful to every one of the more than 184,000 volunteers who wrote and sent 17.58 million letters with Vote Forward this year.

As Election Day approaches, I have one last request for all of you: will you join me in calling even just one voter this weekend?

I realize that making phone calls isn't entirely comfortable for everyone. I started Vote Forward to channel my own anxiety and concern about our politics into an effective get-out-the-vote tactic that I would enjoy doing, even as an introvert.

And it worked! Letter writing was the most effective use of our collective time and energy in the run-up to the election, and together we produced an avalanche of letters.

But this week I've been asking myself, “what now?” I don't want to wake up after Election Day with any regrets, so, having put down my pen, I'm picking up my phone and making calls.

I always tell myself I'm only committing to make one call, and go from there. And although I'm always nervous at first, I can assure you it gets easier.

Will you join me and RSVP right now to make some calls? Or even just one! We need to make sure voters in all the battleground states make plans to vote and get their ballots counted.

Make Phone Calls To Voters

Thank you in advance for doing this, even if you're a phone-shy introvert like me.

Sincerely,

Scott J. Forman
