Hey John — I want to introduce you to a rising star in the Georgia Democratic Party: Dr. Jasmine Clark. In a minute, I’m also going to ask you to split a donation between her campaign and mine. But first, here’s a bit about why I support her:

In 2018, Dr. Clark made history by flipping GA-HD-108 from red to blue for the first time in recent memory. She beat back a well-funded Republican incumbent, and has been representing Georgians in the State Assembly with dignity by fighting for education, voting rights, reproductive rights, environmental protection, common sense gun reform, criminal justice, healthcare, and so much more.

Dr. Clark has a remarkable story. She has a doctorate degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics — and still lectures at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University while representing us in the General Assembly. I’ve fought to stand up for science in Congress, but more than ever, this is a time when we need scientists in government to trumpet facts over fiction. We need to listen to scientists like Dr. Clark. We need leaders like Dr. Clark!
