Trump knows he is losing this election, so he’s doing what losers do: lying, cheating and trying to pick and choose who can vote and how votes will be counted. Trump has made it clear that he will do anything to hold onto power–he won’t commit to a peaceful transition of power and is doing everything he can to undermine our elections.
But we the people make this democracy, and we won’t let Trump take it from us. We know that everyone counts, that’s why we are turning out in record numbers to vote and ensure that everyone’s vote is counted.
This year, to swear in a government of, by and for the people, we can’t just mobilize to win big next Tuesday. We must be ready to Protect the Results and make sure every vote is counted.
People’s Action is part of a network of millions of folks ready to defend our democracy and take action if Donald Trump refuses to accept the results of the 2020 election.
If Trump declares victory before all the votes are counted, makes unfounded claims that the election was “stolen,” tries to stop votes from being counted, or otherwise threatens the integrity of the election or the peaceful transition of power, Protect the Results will activate nationwide mobilizations to demand that every vote is counted.

As we head towards Election Week, we need to do everything possible to make sure the will of the people is heard, and our democracy remains intact.
