** We Invite You to the Cultural Survival Bazaar
Virtual Festival Series!
November 14 - December 4

With the pandemic still impacting large events we are bringing the Indigenous art festivities and holiday shopping online to you.

We will welcome vendors representing over 1551 artists from over 21 cultures. Their work will span various styles and forms, including handwoven textiles, natural fiber bags, earthen pottery, jewelry, paintings, rugs, scarves, clothing, woodwork, and more!

What’s new this season? Four special dates and an entire period (November 16-December 4) to shop or schedule your own remote personal shopping sessions with our staff. ([link removed])

* November 16: Online shopping begins at our Indigenous Boutique
* Friday, November 20, 2:30pm EST : Meet and Greet Zoom Session with artists. Register today ([link removed]) .
* Monday, November 30, 2:30pm EST: Weekday Screening to promote personal shopping. Register today. ([link removed])
* Friday, December 4, 2:30pm EST: Meet and Greet Zoom Session with artists for final shopping day. Register today. ([link removed])

** If you register, and can't join us live we will send you a link to watch the recorded Bazaar so you can shop at your leisure.

With four events from mid-November through early December, you’ll have a chance to stay connected with vendors, shop for holiday gifts and home decor.

Please note: You can shop year round through our vendor profile directory ([link removed]) where you will be buying from Indigenous Artists and Fair Trade Vendors. During the November 16- December 4 timeframe, you will have access to trained staff to support your online shopping and toreserve your very own personal shopping session(s) ([link removed]) , and on November 16 we are launching our Indigenous Boutique to support artists who do not have websites.

We appreciate our Bazaar followers and want to ensure the online Bazaar experience is as enjoyable as possible.

** Meet Our New Artists

Roots of Southern Sudan ([link removed]) was founded in 2011 to empower South Sudanese women and youth by promoting traditional Sudanese arts & crafts. ([link removed]) The women artists represent a wide range of cultures and experiences. Members bring the unique styles and traditions of their Tribes and learn new techniques from each other.

Berber Art Market ([link removed]) is based in the heart of Algeria, in the city of Ghardaia, the home to Amazigh (Berber) Peoples. The art of weaving Berber has been passed down for generations. Rug weaving has long been a major family craft in the region and remains as the main source of income for many families in Ghardaïa.

Khadi Oaxaca ([link removed]) is an artisan collective with a cultural, social, and environmental mission. Over 400 artisans in the southern mountains of Oaxaca are revitalizing heritage crafts and skills of their Zapotec ancestors. Textiles are made from socially and environmentally ethical and sustainable materials and processes.
