Hello John,

Our Fall Gala + Leadership Awards is exactly 3 weeks from today and I couldn’t be more excited! This is going to be a truly special event, one where our affordable housing community can come together in our finest glitz and glam for some much needed R & R while also recognizing the incredible achievements of our award honorees.

This virtual-yet-connected event features all the bells and whistles of a red carpet experience yet enjoyed from the safety and comfort of your home. We’ll have an opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements and honor some very special housers, all while supporting the work of NPH as well as the broader affordable housing movement. Now that’s what I call a win-win!

So Reserve your spot now, mark your calendars for November 19, and get ready to enjoy:

  • Recognition of frontline workers and BAHIP: NPH is privileged to honor the critical work of affordable housing frontline workers during the era of COVID 19, who continue with deep dedication to ensure that residents stay housed, supported and healthy. We’ll also recognize the stunning commitment of Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP), which has inspired organizations on their journey toward racial equity and inclusion, an issue that has taken on new urgency with the recent racial justice uprisings.

  • Award Honorees: Each year, NPH honors inspirational leaders in our affordable housing movement who’ve made a deep and measurable impact in their communities. This year, we’re thrilled to honor long time housing leaders Linda Gardner formerly of Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department and Don Stump formerly of Christian Church Homes. We’re also recognizing the Steering Committee members of the Emerging Leaders Peer Network (ELPN), who’ve offered their time and skills on a volunteer basis to organize trainings and networking events for young and emerging affordable housing professionals.
