Innocent children should not be pawns in deterring immigration.

Hi Friend,

545 kids. The current Administration has separated thousands of children from their parents and now we are learning that they can’t find the parents of 545 of these children.

Many of these families sought asylum in the United States. Seeking asylum is everyone’s legal right. To deny those asylum claims and to deter others from seeking refuge here, the Administration needlessly and cruelly took children away from their families.

The United States has historically been known as a protector of human rights and a refuge for those in need. Sadly, our country’s recent actions tell a different story.

It would be easy to feel defeated, but here at USCRI, we are more determined than ever. For as long as it takes, we will lead the charge to protect children’s rights. We vow to keep the pressure on lawmakers and advocate continually for the humane treatment of children who bravely come to the U.S. seeking a better life.

Now we are asking for your support. Please make a gift to USCRI today so that we may continue to keep children safe and protect their rights. ([link removed])

Your generous donation will help provide a warm welcome for kids who have come to the United States. USCRI provides children with a safe and secure home and the medical care, counseling, and legal assistance they need. We help kids enroll in school, learn English, and begin their journey toward a new life.

Thank you for standing with us during these extremely difficult times.

With gratitude,
Eskinder Negash
President and CEO
