I’m about to ask you to chip in $25 or more to help us reach our last monthly fundraising goal before Election Day -- but first, let me tell you why the final days of our campaign will be so expensive.

From the moment she took office, Elaine has been a top target for national Republicans -- they spent over $500,000 on dishonest ads attacking Elaine before the election year had even begun, and are spending over $2.8 million against her ahead of November 3rd.

We’re doing everything we can to set the record straight -- but we still need to raise $17,850 to fully fund our grassroots organizing efforts or we’ll be forced to pull down ads at the most critical moment of the cycle. Will you chip in to our end-of-month fundraising goal so that we can get Elaine’s message out to as many voters as possible?

You’ve probably heard this saying before: “A lie can travel around the world and back again while the truth is lacing up its boots.”

The truth is that Elaine’s work in Washington speaks for itself. In just her first term in Congress, she had five bills passed and signed into law (more than any other freshman member) and was ranked the 3rd most effective member of the House!

But the hard reality is that it takes more resources and energy to counter falsehoods than it does to simply debate the facts -- especially when they’ve got millions of dollars behind them.
