WaPo: "Faced with record levels of U.S. coronavirus infections and a new White House outbreak, President Trump declared Monday that the pandemic was 'ending anyway,' further tying his reelection bid to his ability to convince voters, including those at large rallies that defy health authorities, that the viral danger is fading."

Trump's false claims directly undermine our nation's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who's just been trying to do his job and protect the American people throughout the course of the pandemic. Instead of being rewarded for his efforts, he's been continually attacked by the president -- having been called an "idiot" and a "disaster."

But still, Fauci persists. In response to questions about whether he would now quit the task force, he responded, "Not in my wildest freakin' dreams."

Listen -- Dr. Fauci's name is being constantly dragged through the mud by Trump and the GOP, but he has resolved to do everything he can to protect us all. As Democrats, the absolute least we can do is stand with him. Please let us know you're joining the cause:
