John,
My name is Priscilla Bort and I'm an organizer with the Wisconsin Working Families Party. The stakes here are high — because not only is Wisconsin a key battleground state, but at every turn, Republicans are doing their best to suppress the vote in Wisconsin.
Republicans have succeeded in rolling back the length of early voting here from five weeks to two. And they've made it extremely difficult to vote by mail — requiring an ID to request an absentee ballot, as well as requiring a witness to sign your ballot. For someone who lives alone, getting a witness to sign their ballot in the middle of a pandemic is pretty difficult.
But we aren't going to let Republicans cheat their way to victory. We're holding text banks and phone banks every day until the election to reach voters and make sure they know all their options to get out there and vote. Your support means we can reach even more. Will you chip in to help us defeat Donald Trump and elect progressives up and down the ballot?

Born and raised in Wisconsin, it's both exciting and terrifying that my state could decide the fate of the election. A lot of people think progressive ideas can't win out here, but speaking from personal experience, I know there is a real hunger for change.
We saw it last year when we swept the Milwaukee school board elections, voting out pro-charter school shills, and replacing them with pro-public school educators and parents. Since that huge victory, the Milwaukee school board voted unanimously to fight to end the school-to-prison pipeline by ending their contract between the police and schools.
It's victories like these that keep me going even when times get tough. And I feel so honored to be fighting for something bigger than myself.
Thanks to your support we've already sent well over 2 million texts and made over 650,000 calls to voters. We average about 300 volunteer shifts a week, and we love our volunteers very much. But this election will come down to the wire, and we can't leave anything to chance.
Will you chip in to WFP's general election GOTV fund to help us reach more voters in Wisconsin? With your support, I believe that we will win.
In solidarity,
Priscilla Bort
