John,
I’ve always encouraged people to make a plan to vote, but for this election, it’s more important than ever. So if you or someone you know hasn’t voted yet, now is the time to make it happen!
The Republican shenanigans in the Senate this week and the rushed confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett have underscored just how important it is that we deliver a big win for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris — by wide enough margins that the outcome cannot be questioned, and the political rigging of the Supreme Court won’t be a factor.
The only way to ensure that happens on November 3rd is for each and every one of us to get out and vote now!
With less than a week before Election Day, it’s too late to just put your ballot in the mail and assume it will get there on time. It’s time to focus on voting in-person or delivering your mail-in ballot to an official collection box. That’s because, unfortunately, Donald Trump has threatened the integrity of our election with baseless claims about voter fraud, constant lies about the insecurity of mail-in voting, and political machinations aimed at slowing down mail service.
So, if you or someone you know hasn’t yet voted, please take a minute today to visit the I Will Vote website [[link removed]], where you can make sure you’re registered, choose the best way to deliver your ballot, find polling places, secure drop-off locations, and more.

If you have already voted, thank you. Feel free to forward this email along to friends, family or neighbors who may not have cast their ballots yet.
Voting is our civic duty, a sacred right, and the lifeblood of our democracy. This year, the stakes are higher than ever. Our votes are literally about saving our democracy from the unprecedented threats posed by Trump and the GOP.
It’s time for all of us to do everything we can to get out the vote. Thanks for doing your part!
Sincerely,
Jared Huffman
