Lisa Anderson | Director of Young Adults

Well, we have a national election coming up, so I will use this space to ask you to pray. Pray for the process to be fair and free of fraud. Pray for issues and decisions of clear biblical truth and morality to prevail. Pray for the safety of candidates, election workers, citizens and others in the wake of a very contentious few days (or more). And most of all, pray for believers to hold to our unswerving hope: that Jesus Christ is Lord — yesterday, today and forever. May we love everyone, regardless of their politics, rhetoric or convictions (and, ahem, regardless of how they treat or speak of us), with the love of Christ. We love because He first loved us. Friend, Jesus has already won — and the glory is His alone.
