I was going over the early vote numbers with our organizing team this morning, and it's clear that we have an opportunity to get a good number of additional early votes before Election Day even gets here.

That means expanding our original Get Out The Vote plans to reach more voters and reach them slightly earlier -- which will require us to spend an additional $250,000.

So here's what we have to do now:

This race -- and control of the Senate -- will go to whichever party has a better GOTV strategy and brings in more votes in this final stretch.

We're facing additional pressure this year because so many more Mainers than normal are casting their ballots early, and there will be record turnout.
