 Hi John, I last emailed you when we had 10 days left in this election, now we're down to five; five days to Get Out the Vote (GOTV). I'm filled with excitement at seeing the news of record turnout of young people all around this country and I'm still nervous as I remember 2016, and think about how misleading 90% of polls were for that election. Point is, we can't take anything for granted and we still need to contact thousands of voters to flip MI D06 from Red to Blue. Sign up for a GOTV shift, today to leave nothing to chance! Jon Hoadley winning in "The Bible Belt of the Midwest" will send a strong message to the establishment: a Green New Deal can win anywhere. Especially since Fossil Fuel Fred is running "the most homophobic campaign in the country," we need to show that Fred Upton isn't what Michigan stands for. We need to kick him out. Fred Upton won by his smallest victory in 2018, just around 13,000 votes and we can help make up that difference by calling voters. We have already made just under 70k dials and need to get to 100k to talk to enough voters to close that gap. But I'm going to be honest right now, we don't have enough people signed up to close that gap. We need to fill roughly 126 more shifts in the next 5 days to be able to contact enough voters.
