POLITICO: “The independent government watchdog for the United States Postal Service has concluded that a sweeping series of operational changes implemented at the agency by President Donald Trump’s postmaster general ‘negatively impacted the quality and timeliness of mail delivery’ across the country.”
Completely unqualified and with no Postal Service experience whatsoever, DeJoy was made USPS Postmaster General as a reward for the millions of dollars he’s donated to Trump and the GOP.
Now, DeJoy is using USPS to wage war on voting rights. By slowing mail delivery through operational changes, he’s undermined the democratic process. Barack Obama denounced his actions as deliberate attempts to erode confidence in vote-by-mail before the election.
