NEED A RIDE TO THE POLLS?

The City of Auburn believes that access to transportation should not be a barrier for anyone wanting to vote. On Tuesday, November 3, Auburn residents can schedule a FREE ride to and from their polling place, using our brand new "ELECTION DAY SHUTTLE!" The City will have 2 shuttle buses servicing all three polling places between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM.

Rides will be free, and the city’s shuttle buses will be clean and safe. Those wishing to use the shuttle service are encouraged to call 333-6670 as soon as possible to schedule a ride. The team at Auburn Public Works will work with callers to determine their polling location and schedule their ride.

___________

REMEMBER: You can register to vote up to and including Election Day! On 11/3, you can register right at your polling location. The polls will be busy on Election Day. Be prepared to wait in line, perhaps outdoors. Dress accordingly, be patient, follow signs, wear a facial covering (unless medically impossible) & stay at least 6’ apart.

ON ELECTION DAY, Auburn’s Tax Oce & Clerk’s Oce will be CLOSED! ONLY election services will be available, such as voter registration, etc. Some resident services are available online at www.auburnmaine.gov. Our offices will reopen on Wednesday, November 4 at 8:30AM.
