I just got off the phone with Congressman Bishop and I’m going to tell you what I told him: We don’t have the resources we need to make it to Election Day.

In our fundraising schedule, we planned to run a no-holds-barred voter turnout effort in the final few days. But between the coronavirus limiting our outreach strategies and the incredible early voting turnout moving our deadlines sooner, we are short on time and low on funds.

If we don’t raise at least $5,100 by Saturday night, our campaign will have to pull resources at the most critical moment. Can Congressman Bishop count on you to help close the gap?

Congressman Bishop has not wanted to push you, our wonderful supporters, during this time of crisis. I respect that. But John – we’re treading water.

You know this, but it bears repeating: Our actions now will create outcomes that cannot be undone. This election will decide the direction of our nation’s coronavirus response, public schools, health care, civil rights, environment, and our very soul, for many decades.

Slowing down is simply not an option.

We are working around the clock to elect Sanford Bishop, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot. If we raise just $5,100 by Saturday night, I will be able to call the congressman with good news for a change.
