Board approves interagency supervisory rule to increase transparency, consistency
The NCUA Board Wednesday approved a proposed interagency rule clarifying that
agency guidance "does not have the force of law" and does not create
legally binding obligations for financial institutions. The rule was informally
issued earlier this month by the federal financial regulators.

FY20 loan data reveals 'historic' $750B in loans
The Small
Business Administration (SBA) Wednesday released its fiscal year 2020 summary
loan data, revealing the agency helped to facilitate nearly 9 million loans totaling
$750 billion. The paycheck protection program (PPP), enacted under the CARES Act
earlier this year, provided more than 5 million loans.
