John, we know it’s getting late -- we just had to make one last pitch before our final public fundraising deadline at midnight.

Here it is:

Our democracy is at stake with Proposition 113, the National Popular Vote.

If our opponents succeed in overturning the National Popular Vote -- which was signed into law by Governor Polis last year -- we risk handing the presidency to a candidate who didn’t win the popular vote. Again.

We risk electing a president who doesn’t truly represent the American people -- one who only has to campaign in a handful of states and earn votes from only a few communities. We risk further eroding trust in our political process.

But if we can pass Proposition 113 in Colorado, we can guarantee that one person always equals one vote, and that the candidate who wins the most votes gets elected. Period.

We’ve still got a lot of work left to do in these last 6 days. We need to be able to respond to any last-minute attacks from our opponents, and we must reach every single undecided voter in Colorado so we can get enough votes to pass Prop 113. But we’re burning through our resources faster than we anticipated.

At midnight, we close the books on our final public fundraising deadline of this campaign. John, can we count on you to chip in $5 or more to help us hit our goal so we can pass Prop 113? Let’s leave it all on the field.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Yes on Prop 113
National Popular Vote

Proposition 113 is on the ballot in Colorado this November. A YES vote on Prop 113 supports the National Popular Vote, which guarantees the Presidency to the candidate who wins the most votes in all 50 states. Last year, Governor Polis signed the National Popular Vote into law. On November 3rd, Coloradans will be asked to approve the decision of the Legislature and the Governor.
