I loved last night’s debate because it gave me the opportunity to speak directly to the American people about the actual problems we’re facing. And I did my best to explain what we need to do and the direction we need to go to improve our country for all citizens. Despite polling in 5th place, and despite recent reports that I perform better than almost any other candidate in a head-to-head matchup against Donald Trump, the debate moderators still refused to give me time to talk about our innovative ideas.  The truth is, it’s not the media’s fault. They don’t understand our campaign. They’re used to covering the horse race and listening to career politicians who mean well but don’t understand the real problems our country is facing. Any way you cut it, the media’s not going to give us the attention we deserve. We’re going to have to make our own news.
