I’ve been honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with Lucy in the toughest fights, and like me, she was an early believer in Georgia’s potential to turn blue.

When many in Washington discounted that Georgia’s sixth district was winnable, she stepped up to run. She fought with me in 2018 to turn out Georgians who didn’t believe their voices matter. She shattered expectations and pulled out a win by just 1%.

But now her opponent is back once again, and we cannot let her win. Her opponent was Georgia’s Secretary of State when Republicans first started ramping up their voter suppression efforts. The Justice Department even found that she violated the Voting Rights Act during her tenure.

We cannot afford her anti-democratic agenda in Congress. Together, we can re-elect Lucy and ensure free and fair elections for all — now and in the future.
