Donald Trump held more rallies in our state, with another planned on Friday. AND VP Mike Pence was also here today, despite a COVID-19 outbreak among his staff. We are less than a week away from the November election, and it is as clear as ever that Wisconsin is a vital battleground state.

Donald Trump’s rallies are superspreader events aimed at energizing his base at the expense of Wisconsinites. They are known for being unsafe, with supporters not wearing masks and not keeping their distance. Their visits come as our hospitals are reaching capacity and public health officials are begging people to follow the guidelines.

While Wisconsin is a vital battleground, it is clear that Donald Trump does not care about Wisconsinites. He is willing to risk our lives by traveling all around the state and encouraging the spread of COVID-19.
