Dear,
We’re just six days from Voting Day, and Devin Nunes is still leading
challenger Phil Arballo by five points.(1)
But there’s a constituency that Nunes has completely ignored -- Latinx
voters.
Latinx people make up half of Nunes’ district, but they are 10% less
likely to vote than their white neighbors -- which could be the difference
needed to beat him. We are flooding Nunes’ district with ads to help get
Latinx voters to the polls and turn their ballots in.
[ [link removed] ]It’s now or never to defeat Devin Nunes. Will you rush an emergency
donation now to help us push as many Latinx voters as possible to the
polls by Tuesday to send him packing?

Nunes is so scared that he is about to lose his seat, he sent an entire
book of his lies and rants to constituents in his district.(2)
The more people that hear about Phil Arballo, who put himself through
college and knows firsthand the troubles Trump’s response to the pandemic
has caused, the more they like him.(3)
Meanwhile, Nunes' hometown newspaper just endorsed Arballo.(4) His best
political friend, Donald Trump, is losing by more than 30 points in
California polls.(5) And his record is absolutely terrible on the issues
that Latinx voters -- who make up 49% of Nunes’ district -- say they care
about: the economy and health care during the pandemic.(6)
Our Courage California Voter Guide speaks directly to those issues, which
is why we need to get the Guide in front of Latinx voters -- not just in
the 22nd Congressional District, but across California.
Right now, only about one-quarter of the ballots from Nunes’ district have
been returned. We need to convince as many voters as possible to turn in
their ballots and boot Nunes out of office on November 3.
[ [link removed] ]This is our last chance to defeat Devin Nunes in this election. Will
you donate right now?
Yours in the fight for our democracy,
Irene, along with Angela, Annie, Caitlin, Deepthi, Gabby, Jay, Lindsay,
Molly, Raquel, and Scottie (the Courage team)
