Hey team -

Republicans just voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, and in doing so, they have sent the Senate into a death spiral of power politics.

They have broken norms and rules and engaged in a kind of hypocrisy that is stunning to watch. They have rushed through this nomination in a manner never before seen in American history.

We cannot let this stand. And right now, we can make Republicans pay by taking away their right to govern — by winning the Senate majority and stripping Mitch McConnell of his title as Majority Leader.

So tonight, my eyes are on Kansas. It’s a winnable Senate race, and if we win there, then we have definitely won the Senate. Right now, polls show the race very tight, and a last minute infusion of funds can make a difference.

Will you split a $3 donation between Barbara Bollier’s campaign in Kansas and my efforts to flip the Senate? This is a race where late money can make a BIG difference.

Republicans don’t care about keeping their word. They don’t care about the rules. They don’t care about the process.

They rushed this through because they believe it is their best, last-ditch attempt to overturn the Affordable Care Act and lock in a conservative majority willing to overturn Roe v. Wade.

What better response than electing the first female physician to the U.S. Senate.

And right now, things are trending in Barbara Bollier’s direction. Polling is tight, and election forecasters are moving it into the tossup column.

That’s why Mitch McConnell and his super PACs have rushed more than $20 million into the state. They know if they lose there, then their majority isn’t just over — it’d be a wipeout.

My Republican colleagues think that they can get away with this. Let’s make sure they don’t. That’s our job right now:
