Team, we have two important updates for you.
First, since announcing our $100,000 October goal last night, 605 members of this incredible team stepped up to help us raise $24,077 — bringing us about a quarter of the way to our goal! That’s great news, but to actually hit it in time for our midnight Saturday deadline, we’ll have to raise that every single day from now until then. That’s going to be really hard.
Second, we just got updated organizing numbers out of four more critical battleground states — Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. Check it out:
In Texas we’ve reached over 104,000 voters. In 2016, Donald Trump won the state by 807,179 votes.
In Ohio we’ve reached over 106,000 voters. In 2016, Donald Trump won the state by 446,841 votes.
In North Carolina we’ve reached over 84,100 voters. In 2016, Donald Trump won the state by 173,315 votes.
In Wisconsin, we’ve reached over 57,600 voters. In 2016, Donald Trump won the state by 22,748 votes.
And these aren’t just any voters. Thanks to the contributions of this grassroots team we’ve spent the last year building our own voter file of veterans, military families, and registered voters we’ll need to turn out to win in these states.
These numbers are incredibly significant and we have more people in our target audience to try to connect with, but we simply have to raise the resources it will take to do it — and fast. Will you add a grassroots donation to our goal of 4,000 donations before midnight on Saturday? Most people chip in $50 or more but anything you can give today will help.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
What we’ve been able to accomplish together is nothing short of incredible. And it goes to show that our team and movement will truly stop at nothing to fight for those who have fought or will fight for us. Our sacrifice, the sacrifice of the few in service of the many, deserves nothing less.
Thanks for your help if you can give it. We’re making good progress but still have a long way to go.
