My team just ran the numbers and it looks like we run the risk of missing our final fundraising goal of this election — putting our efforts to flip the Senate and stop Donald Trump from winning Wisconsin at risk.

To be honest, this hole in our budget is coming at a bad time. Donald Trump returned to Wisconsin earlier this week to shore up more support and now, the presidential race is down to single digits.

We really can’t afford to let our slight lead slip in these last few days. Remember, Hillary Clinton was ahead in the polls in Wisconsin on Election Day in 2016 when Donald Trump squeaked by and won the final electoral votes he needed to secure the White House.

This election will come down to the wire, we have to fight with all we’ve got. That’s why I'm reaching out today with an urgent request as we try to make up for this temporary lapse in our fundraising.
