The first early vote reports are in for CA-08, and the numbers are encouraging.

So far, more Democrats have returned their ballots than Republicans -- but the majority of voters in our district have yet to cast their ballots.

As you can see, Democrats are leading in ballots cast by 8 percentage points. This is great news, but we can’t forget only about 30% of expected voters have voted.

This race will come down to the wire, and the outcome will be decided by those who are waiting until Election Day to vote. There are still undecided voters who we need to reach with our message and turn out to vote.

Jay Obernolte is running attack ads in an effort to slow us down in this critical final stretch, but we’re doing everything we can to fight back. Will you chip in to help fund our final voter outreach push?
