Team,

After today, all advance ballots will have been mailed to voters. If you requested an advance ballot, or know someone who has, make sure it's returned as soon as possible.

Drop boxes are available throughout the state of Kansas. In Sedgwick County, you can visit sedgwickcounty.org/elections to see all drop box locations throughout the county. Drop boxes close at 7 p.m. on Election Day.

You can also take your ballot to an early voting center, like your county election office or satellite locations, whenever they are open. Early vote centers' times vary by location, so check with your county election office, or visit earlyvoteks.com.

Any Election Day polling place will also allow you to drop off your advance ballot to be counted. Polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day, so be sure and return your ballot by then.

If you choose to mail your ballot back, don't delay. While ballots don't have to be postmarked until Tuesday, Nov. 3, they must also be received by your county election office by Friday, Nov. 6. Dropping your ballot in the mail sooner gives it a greater chance to reach the election office on time.

However you return your ballot, make sure to sign and date the back so that it will be counted without delay. Your vote matters, and could be the deciding vote in critical elections up and down the ballot.
