It's a very exciting time to be Battleground Texas' Organizing Director, and let me tell you why:

This weekend, I get to watch our Summer Fellows graduate from the program. After weeks of hard work, these fellows will become organizers and changemakers.

Typically, they come in a little shy, but by the end of the program, this talented, capable group of Texans are well on their way to being savvy grassroots organizers.

Once this group graduates and gets out in the field, we're moving quickly onto training the next one, and that's why I'm reaching out today. Applications just opened up for our next class of Fellows, and this one is a very important group.

Our Fall Fellows are the folks who'll be leading us through that critical period in election season that happens right before the new year.

As the primary field winnows down, our Fall Fellows will be some of the very first people voters have contact with, before the top campaigns make major expansions in the Spring.

Simply put, the more Fellows we can train up and get out on the ground now the better -- and your donations will help fund this effort.
