Rip apart the Affordable Care Act.
The Republicans have tried and failed for the last 10 years. They couldn't get it through Congress. They couldn't get it by John Roberts. Now, Republicans are gleeful, counting on Amy Coney Barrett to make their sick dreams come true.
You know, I am pissed off, John. I am sick worrying over the fate of millions of Americans who rely on the ACA to keep themselves or their family members alive, for the tens of millions with pre-existing conditions who could lose coverage, and for every one of us who has lost someone who couldn't afford their health care.
We had no say in the choice of Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court. Our voices have been washed out by our power-hungry president and Republican senators who want nothing more than to rip away the health care of the American people.
And they are doing all of this during a pandemic which has left over 200,000 Americans dead and millions infected.
Enough is enough.
I have built my career fighting for the very people that the Republican leadership is trying to pull the rug out from under. And I plan to do the same in Congress.

It's been 10 long years since President Obama signed the ACA into law. And in that time, Republicans have not rolled out a single comprehensive alternative that will protect pre-existing conditions, keep costs down, and make sure everyone can access care when they need it.
Instead, they have tried dozens of times to repeal it through legislation. Now, they're hoping that when the Supreme Court reviews the Affordable Care Act (again) on November 10th, the six conservative justices will finish the job.
Our best hope now is to elect members of Congress who will act swiftly to repair the damage Trump's Supreme Court will do.
