Our last chance to act? ? ? ? ? IOWA ALERT: NYT poll shows pro-environment Senate challenger Theresa Greenfield down one point to incumbent Joni Ernst. Please give ? even $3 ? today and your donation will be tripled ? [link removed]

Friend ? a new poll from The New York Times just put incumbent Senator Joni Ernst up 45%-44% over her pro-environment challenger, Theresa Greenfield.

This is a shocking development in the race ? Greenfield had been running ahead for weeks, and a pro-environment majority in the Senate is going to rely on Iowa this year.

Recent polls in the state have also had Biden and Trump TIED ? and if Trump loses Iowa, it almost certainly means he's toast.

We have to keep up the pressure in Iowa. We're in the final days of GOTV operations, but we can't let up now.

If we raise $25,000 today, we can scale up turnout efforts to environmental voters in these swing states ? we CAN pull this off. A group of donors has even put together a triple match ? but unless things turn around, we're going to come up short.

Friend: Donate by midnight to help us meet our goal. Every dollar will be tripled. Just $3 is enough to make a difference ? [link removed]

The polls for this race could not be closer ? if we make a serious push in the final week ahead of the election, it could be enough to make the difference.

Senator Ernst has never been more vulnerable to losing Iowa's swing voters. She's showing herself to be out of touch with her state: hypocritically backing the Supreme Court nomination right before voters choose a new president, even flubbing a question in a debate televised statewide about the price of a bushel of soybeans.

Undecided voters are taking a close look at Sen. Ernst right now ? and if we show them that she's consistently sided with polluters over their families and communities, and encourage them to turn out for the environment, we know we can swing them.

If we go big right now targeting Iowa's environmental swing voters, we could lock up the race for her challenger Theresa Greenfield and chart the path to a pro-environment Senate majority. But polls are still showing a dead heat ? or Ernst with a lead.

Your gift can still make a big difference ? it's never been more important to do everything you can, friend. [link removed] Our vote-by-mail operations, GOTV calls, and peer-to-peer text operations are peaking right now in this critical week, but we still can do more.

We can't come up short ? if we do, moving more resources to Iowa could mean scaling back our last push to beat Susan Collins in Maine or Thom Tillis in North Carolina ? races that are also close, where reaching enough undecided and pro-environment voters could determine the Senate's balance of power next year.

We have to pull this off. If we win Iowa in the Senate and the presidential contests, it means we're finally in a real position to advance federal policies that put people most impacted by pollution and climate change at the center of solutions ? especially communities of color, Indigenous communities, and low-wealth communities.

Please ? make an emergency contribution, even just $3, to LCV Victory Fund before midnight's deadline. Every dollar will be tripled. [link removed]

Thank you for sticking with us through this final week, friend. With supporters like you on our side, we can win Iowa, and that's the first step to a cleaner and more just future for everyone.
