Yesterday was our ten-year anniversary of our big march in Washington D.C.! To celebrate, we premiered our much-anticipated “Tea Party Movie” on Facebook and YouTube.
The 100-minute film was selected for the Library of Congress when it was submitted for copyright in 2009. It had been sitting in a vault in Virginia, but we brought it out of the vault!
The film follows the struggles of five grassroots individuals and their transformation from hometown rally goers and grassroots organizers to national activists in the September 12 march on Washington D.C. The film also reveals what is at the heart of this nationwide surge of civic engagement – a return to and respect for a “constitutionally limited government, personal responsibility and fiscal responsibility.”

Our Second Amendment rights are under attack! Tea Party Patriots will join other conservatives at a press conference at the House Triangle in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, September 18 at 3:30 P.M. to discuss our Second Amendment rights and how they are non-negotiable! The following speakers have either survived a mass shooting or are family members of people killed in a mass shooting. They will discuss solutions that DO NOT violate our Second Amendment rights.
We will also hold a live-streamed forum that same day at 7:30 P.M. at the Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington, D.C. Jenny Beth and Randy Corporon will moderate the event and give participants the opportunity to tell their stories in more detail.

- CO Rep. Patrick Neville - survived Columbine as a student and is now a pro-2A state legislator
- Sheriff Frank Reynolds - Sheriff of Cherokee County, GA where a mass shooting at a local high school was stopped before the perpetrators could carry it out
- Alek Skarlatos - Army veteran who stopped a terrorist on a train to Paris with two other Americans, Clint Eastwood made a film about it
- JT Lewis - older brother of Jesse Lewis, who was murdered at Sandy Hook, now running for state senate in CT
- Max Eden - co-author of Why Meadow Died, a book by Meadow's father, Andrew Pollack, after she was killed in the Parkland shooting, that exposes why public policy allowed the shooter to do what he did.

You know what drives us crazy? The left would rather protect dangerous illegal immigrants than protect the citizens who obey the law, pay taxes and strive to achieve the American Dream legally. A Christian florist is being persecuted for her Constitutionally-protected 1st Amendment rights, and is being forced to take her case for religious liberty to the Supreme Court for the second time. Meanwhile, an illegal immigrant charged with rape in the sanctuary jurisdiction of Montgomery County, MD may be released back on the streets. This is the EIGHTH illegal immigrant who is accused of rape in Montgomery County. This particular illegal immigrant was released after a prior charge of assault and sex offense – without alerting ICE because this is a sanctuary county – and now he has possibly committed a rape.
Let’s get this straight: the left is trying to destroy the life of an American woman who cannot use her talents and time to celebrate an event that violates her conscience, while protecting illegal immigrants who assault and rape Americans. Unbelievable.
Gun violence makes headlines and causes outrage. Gun violence is an issue; however, where’s the visible outrage over the unreasonably strict Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards that have been responsible for more deaths than gun violence?...
Members are back on the Hill and Democrats are taking advantage of the tragic shootings to draft and attempt to pass legislation that would erode the Second Amendment. One of those bills will call for federal red flag laws, which would allow the government to confiscate firearms from citizens who haven’t been charged with a felony or been involuntarily committed to a mental facility....
So, let’s spend a few minutes talking Big Picture Agenda. What is Congress going to be working on between now and the end of the year? First up in terms of must-do’s is government funding. We’re already into the second week of September, and Congress has yet to send a single appropriations bill to the White House for the president’s signature....
