A few weeks back we asked you to send notes of encouragement to our alums — and some of the responses we received were too good not to share.

Michelle captured what so many of us here at Emerge are feeling in this final stretch:

“We are ever so grateful that you see fit to pick up the torch and run for us. Sending you the energy of fortitude for the good fight. Thank you for representing us.”

Laurie had some words of wisdom for folks who are feeling burnt out by 2020:

“Hang in there. COVID campaigning is a slog, but our communities need us!”

Kerah had a note for our alums who might feel like their energy is dwindling in these final days:

“You got this, sisters! We're all in this together!”

And finally, Valerie shared a sentiment that we couldn’t be more excited by as we look to November 3rd and beyond:

“Thank you all for making a difference. You are inspiring! The future is Emerge-ing and SHE is AMAZING!”

To everyone who took a moment to sign a card and leave a note for our alums — thank you! Even virtually, I can feel the energy and enthusiasm coming from alums across the country.
