Reproductive freedom is under attack.

Last month, the Trump Administration got the go-ahead to enforce an extreme policy -- nicknamed the "gag rule" -- that will severely limit women's access to reproductive healthcare and has already forced Planned Parenthood to back out of critical Title X family-planning funding.

We know that millions of women and families depend on preventative care such as pap smears and mammograms that Planned Parenthood provides.

We also know that for many women and families -- especially in low-income and rural communities -- Planned Parenthood is the only place they can receive this life-saving health care.

The House of Representatives has taken action and passed legislation to protect Title X and funding for clinics.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, however, hasn't taken any steps to move this legislation forward to the Senate. Instead, he's putting political points with the anti-choice fringe above the millions of women and families that depend on the life-saving care clinics like Planned Parenthood provide.
