John, I wanted to reach out this morning before the day gets away from us.

The bottom line is this: Jeff Van Drew has a significant cash-on-hand advantage, and he’s using it to overwhelm our campaign with attack ads in the final six days of this election.

We need to respond, but when I received our daily fundraising report this morning, we were not on track to reach our goal before the final end-of-month deadline of this election.
