John,
Robert Cahaley was the most accurate pollster in the 2016 & 2018 elections and now he has some bold predictions about the 2020 election.
He recently answered a few very telling questions:
Question: What will tip the scales of this election?
Cahaly: “It’s all about the 16 Million+ lapsed and low propensity voters now.”
To give you an idea of the impact these voters can make, here are some data points on lapsed voters in key battleground states:
Q2: What is the best way to reach these lapsed voters and get them to the polls?
Cahaly: “At this juncture in the election, it’s not about ads to reach politically engaged listeners, who we already know will vote. It’s also not about advertising to reach a particular demographic, that may or may not be registered when voter registration deadlines have already passed in many states. It’s all about reaching the 16 Million+ lapsed registered voters that don’t listen to the news or political pundits. The best way to reach these lapsed voters is by peer-to-peer methodologies... all the way up until Election Day.”
Let that sink in.
The 2020 election depends on reaching out to lapsed voters one-on-one, with phone calls and text messages, making sure that they will get out to vote in this critical election.
Here’s the great news: that’s exactly what we at Convention of States are doing.
We have identified key lapsed and low propensity voters who live in battleground states and our army of volunteers are personally reaching out to each of them.
This effort could make or break this election and the most important days are still in front of us. Will you help us continue our work all the way through election day and chip in whatever you can?
We need to raise $50,000 by midnight on October 30th, so every dollar counts. A generous donor stands ready to match every gift.
