With the high stakes of the impending election and Illinois facing a record spike in COVID-19 cases, it's more important than ever to stand up and demand climate justice and equity.
Join 350 Chicago and its coalition partners for a Virtual Lobby Day on November 12th to advocate for the Illinois Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA).
CEJA is a blueprint for setting Illinois on a path to 100% clean energy, simultaneously providing new jobs and training to our communities. It has four pillars:
- Reach 100% renewable energy by 2050
- Eliminate carbon power by 2030
- Electrify the transportation sector
- Hold utility companies accountable
CEJA will do all of this while also being fully committed to creating equitable economic recovery in the black and brown communities, as well as coal communities, who need it most. Earlier this year, before shelter-in-place orders began, more than 700 people traveled to Springfield for the Lobby Day for CEJA at the State Capitol. It's time to come together again - this time virtually!

You'll not only will have the opportunity to connect with lawmakers but also a chance to meet other activists in your area.
