Applications are invited for Level 2 Swimming Teachers. The sucessful candidates will join a large dedicated team who deliver swimming lesssons and water safety tochildren and young peoplefrom a numberof primary schoolsin the area.
You will be delivering the National CurriculumLearning Outcomes throughSwim England'sSwim CharterAwards,underpinned bytheSafe Supervision of School SwimmingProcedures.
Duties will include being responsible for providing a suitable scheme of work and lesson plans appropritefor the ability of the children for the duration of the school's booking, whichmust besafe, enjoyable, and progressive tomotivate the pupils being taught to achieve the National Curriculum Requirements, whilst ensuring a safe supervision of the pool.
Candidates will be expected to attend meetings outside the teachingweeks for continuous professional development, and essential training in line with qualifications deemed necessary by the service.
*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics
* To complete or hold either an NPLQ Pool Lifeguard qualification or NRASTAC National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches
