Here's the deal: Whatever our party raises before this deadline will be the very last funds we can spend getting out the vote in the final days of this race -- and whether or not we reach our goal will affect not just me and Kamala, John, but thousands of Democrats running down-ballot who are relying on help from the DNC. It's clear that we're running out of time to make a difference, but what we absolutely cannot afford is to run out of funding to help Democrats in this final week.

I don't say this to alarm you, John, but I have to be honest. So much is riding on you, me, and this entire grassroots team right now. I've lived through a lot of presidential elections in my day, but none where the fate of our democracy -- and the soul of the nation -- so clearly hung in the balance. So, we've just got to give this all we have.
