Folks,

I just left the Gallatin River in Bozeman, Montana to introduce my latest bill — the Montana Headwaters Legacy Act.

This new legislation will permanently protect more than 300 miles of rivers across Southwestern Montana and would be the most significant wild and scenic river designation in our state in nearly 45 years.

This proposal was created by Montanans working together and I am proud to be standing with them today. Since the day I stepped into office, I’ve worked to protect our environment and preserve our public lands and clean water.

Now, I’m counting on folks like you to make this bill a reality. Will you step up and sign my petition asking Congress to pass my historic rivers bill? Together, we can save our Montana rivers. [[link removed]]
