This election season has been filled with attempts to undermine the rights of voters and discourage Black and Brown communities from voting. However, by voting early, we as a people can collectively seize our power and fight back against racial injustices and inequality. Advancement Project National Office team is on the ground in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Georgia and Michigan working with our partners to protect the vote! We are seeing long lines and making sure folks #StayInLine. Our lawyers are working on election protection efforts to make sure voters have access to ballots in their preferred language and holding down agreements to keep police away from polls in some states. You know our mantra: free, fair and safe election!

Advancement Project National Office’s Director of Power and Democracy Jorge Vasquez writes in The Hill, “To win racial justice and dismantle the structures that stand in the way of equality, we must use every ounce of our power — including our right to vote.” Read his entire op-ed here.
