Hunger Champions Worldwide Helped Make World Food Day a Success! |
On October 16, our Hunger Champions embodied the United Nations’ theme for this World Food Day: Grow, Nourish, Sustain. Together. Volunteers packaged 100,000+ nourishing meals, we broadcast live meal packaging and inspiring messages of celebration and advocacy and we raised over $57,000 to support communities affected by food insecurity. To kick us off, our CEO published a blog about the state of global hunger and the importance of rallying together this World Food Day to support communities in crisis. Read Barry's blog! |

Peter’s Story: Returning Home as a Hero |
World Food Day represents both celebration and recognition. Our Food Hero Peter Lomago epitomizes this intersection. Having once journeyed for days without food, Peter now plays a pivotal role in our Empowering Lives Through Nutrition-Smart Agriculture initiative in South Sudan.
