Dear John,

Royal Dutch Shell, one of the biggest oil companies in the world, has made
billions of dollars from Canadian oil. They say that they care about climate change, but behind the scenes they’re
still funding the oil lobby - to the tune of up to $1 million US every year - to fight against every climate policy on the table. Already nearly 15,000 Canadians have called on Shell to put their money where
their mouth is and leave CAPP, Canada’s oil lobbying association, but we need to keep pushing. We need your voice, John.
[[link removed]]CAPP’s lobbying is the single biggest barrier to climate action in Canada. If Shell leaves, it will force other oil companies to consider their positions,
and deal a major blow to CAPP by costing them millions in membership fees.

That’s why we’ve joined up with partners in the Netherlands to bring the
campaign directly to Shell’s door. Together we’ll amplify your voice and keep up
the pressure on Shell from both sides of the Atlantic, to show that we won’t let
them keep greenwashing at the expense of Canada’s environment.

Will you join us? Take action today to tell Shell to stop funding climate inaction.
