Following the November 3 elections, I will officially launch my campaign, but I wanted to let you know from me - first - because you have been so supportive of my endeavors in the past.

Hi John,

New York is hurting right now. Covid-19 did not create many of the social ills that plague the city, but it certainly exacerbated them, especially in our Black and brown communities. People are struggling. Now more than ever, we need our elected officials to have the steady hand of leadership and experience to get New York City back on track.

I come from a family that encountered many challenges from making ends meet to dealing with serious and debilitating mental illness. I’ve seen and experienced the destructive trauma we create when our leaders do little to help.

That is why I am running for Manhattan Borough President.

All New Yorkers must do their part to restore the economic engine of our city. That means jobs for every New Yorker who wants one, housing assistance for all who need it, and the recovery of the vibrant city life that we are all accustomed to seeing in our neighborhoods.

Following the November 3 elections, I will officially launch my campaign, but I wanted to let you know from me - first - because you have been so supportive of my endeavors in the past.

While this is an open seat, it won’t be an easy race.

We are running a grassroots, people-driven campaign where any contribution from you will be amplified by 8:1 in public matching funds. Our goal is to ramp up quickly and put together a viable, strong launch that will show Manhattan voters that I am the best person to represent them in borough hall.

Can you donate today to help me start my campaign off on strong footing?

We are all in this together. Let’s get to work.

Sincerely,

Lindsey
