John - I had to make a tough decision today.

We had a virtual meeting at Cartwright HQ where we discussed responding to Jim Bognet’s massive GOTV ad buy.

We had set the goal to match his buy with a $10,000 increased investment of our own, but we are currently still $4,262 short.

So, I had to make a difficult call: Should I greenlight the full spend and count on our grassroots donors to close the gap in these final few hours, or pull back with a smaller response?

I decided to tell my Campaign Director Kelly to move forward with the full buy, but now we need to make sure we fill our budget gap so we can pay this bill and keep moving ahead without making cuts.
