Great again: Department of Homeland Security starts fast track removal of criminal illegal immigrants

LAREDO, TX – The Trump administration and its Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with its divisions Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) has quietly restarted a program initially established in 1996.

It’s one that will fast-track deportations of illegal immigrants, especially those with criminal records or current criminal warrants. Read More.

“Public safety committee” bans tear gas, rubber bullets on “protestors”: ‘Demonstrators are not enemy combatants.’

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Public Safety Commission in Philadelphia has unanimously voted to ban the Philadelphia Police Department from using any type of less lethal munitions against protesters at demonstrations throughout the city. 

For their argument to ban less lethal munitions, they brought in people that they deemed to be experts on police reform.  These experts, along with some type of local investigators, were hired by the city to review the processes the agency used in clearing out the protesters from blocking major highways in Philadelphia during the summer protests and riots. Read More.

NYPD on high alert after brake line cut on NYPD officer’s patrol car, causing crash

QUEENS, NY – A New York Police Department marked vehicle was involved in a crash on October 7th.  Police inspected the vehicle to determine what occurred, and determined that the brake lines had been cut.

The incident occurred when two New York City Police officers, who were assigned the to Transit District 20 Division, ran into the back of another vehicle who had stopped for a red light in Queens.  The officers, who were involved in the crash, noticed that they had no brakes when they went to stop for the vehicle near Queens Boulevard and the Union Turnpike. Read More.
