I’m furious about what happened last night, John.

First, President Trump nominated a far-right justice to the Supreme Court of the United States during an election. Then just one week before that election, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell forced a confirmation through the Senate against the will of the American people. It’s rank hypocrisy, but sadly it’s what we’ve come to expect from today’s GOP.

It’s okay to be outraged, but this is no time for complacency. With just a week until Election Day, it’s clear that the stakes are too high to leave any stone unturned as we continue to build on the progress we made flipping this district from red to blue in 2018.

That’s why I’m writing to ask:

CA-49 is still one of the Republicans’ top targets, and my self-funding opponent is spending six figures on attack ads to defeat me. I’m not taking this lying down, John, and neither should you. Can you chip in $3 to help us finish strong so we can keep making progress?
