Hello John,

After claiming that women in Pennsylvania’s suburbs would give him the election, Donald Trump is now pleading with “suburban women” to vote for him. “Can I ask you to do me a favor? Suburban women, will you please like me? I saved your d--- neighborhood.”

Trump’s pleas likely stem from the fact that a new Washington Post poll found that Joe Biden has a comfortable twelve-point national lead and is also leading in a number of battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Minnesota.

But NPR has warned against over-relying on polling data for preemptive election results. According to the news source, “fears about the Postal Service's reliability, as well as President Trump's constant railing against mail voting security, have meant fewer and fewer people planning to use [vote-by-mail] to vote” -- and now officials are worried a surge of voters on Election Day could lead to unsafe crowding and long lines that could deter Americans from voting at all.

We can’t afford a low turnout that will give Donald Trump and his allies a chance to contest the election results. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have urged us to make a plan to vote in any way we can. With just 7 days left before this high-stakes election, we’re working to make sure every single eligible voter turns in their ballot and has their voice heard. That’s why we’re asking you now:

Have you voted yet?
